Privacy and local storage

No collection by default

scalexrs.com sets no cookie, loads no third-party script, embeds no analytics and does not record your visits. Server logs kept by the host for security purposes are retained for the legal duration only.

Language preference

The only information kept in your browser is your language choice (key xalpes_lang, in local storage), so that the site opens in the same language next time. It is never transmitted. You can erase it by clearing your browser's site data.

Contact form

The contact form prepares a message in your own email client; nothing is sent to or stored by this site. The email you then send is handled by XALPES LLC solely to answer you, and kept for the duration of the exchange.

Product reports

Purpose. The report form of the public register lets anyone signal a product bearing an XRS marking that is absent from the register, wrongly formatted or not matching its declaration. The data is used solely for the control of the XRS marking (surveillance control and contradictory sampling, XRS 002:2026).

Data collected. Only what you enter in the form: declaration number, level shown, brand, manufacturer, product name, barcode, date and place of purchase, country, description, the photographs and receipt you attach, and your email address if you choose to leave it, together with the date and time of receipt, your truncated IP address (last byte removed) and the type of your browser, kept to prevent abuse. The form stores nothing in your browser and uses no analytics.

Recipient. XALPES LLC, Test Laboratory Division, contact@scalexrs.com. The report is received by the site's own server at its host (Hostinger), stored in a folder that cannot be reached from the web, and forwarded by email to that address; if you left an email address, an acknowledgement with your reference number is sent to you. No third-party service processes the report. If the server does not answer, the form opens your own email client instead.

Retention. For the duration of the investigation of the report, then 24 months, in line with the surveillance procedure of XRS 002:2026; deleted afterwards unless a dispute is pending.

Your rights. You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of the data relating to you at any time by writing to contact@scalexrs.com.

Public register

The register of declarations publishes company names of licensees and commercial product designations, not personal data. Licensees consent to that publication by contract.
